What stays on your device

The Android app stores your destinations, trip dates, packing items, quantities, weights, bag names and limits, shopping flags, departure tasks, notes, templates and settings in its private local storage. This information is not uploaded to Vornex. Android cloud backup is disabled for the app.

No account or tracking SDKs

The app has no sign-in, advertising, analytics, remote crash reporting, payment system, live weather or location service. It does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone or broad storage permissions. Conditions are entered manually. The release app does not require internet access for its packing functions.

Exports, backups and sharing

Exporting a checklist or JSON backup opens Android’s document picker so you can choose a location. That location may be managed by a cloud provider. Sharing passes the checklist text to the receiving app you choose through Android’s chooser. Other apps and document providers handle information under their own policies. Backups include your trip details and notes; keep them private. The app accepts backups up to 5 MiB, and restoring replaces its current data.

Deletion and retention

You can remove trips, items, departure tasks and custom templates, or clear saved data in Settings. Uninstalling removes the app’s private data. Exported and shared copies remain wherever you saved or sent them until you remove them there. Because Vornex does not receive your local lists, we cannot remotely read, recover or erase those lists.

When you contact support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to answer and resolve your request, retaining correspondence only as needed for that purpose and applicable obligations. Avoid sending sensitive travel documents or private backup files unless necessary for a problem you choose to discuss. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable retention obligations.
